Happy Birthday Food for Thought, Ringwood
Food for Thought in Ringwood celebrated its first birthday on Saturday 11th October 2008 with a refit, guest producers and importers (including yours truly, of course), and offerings of tasters and treats for shoppers.

Food for Thought beat stiff competition from the likes of Riverford Organic for Wiltshire Society Magazine's favourite Independant Retailer, and has enjoyed a booming trade since opening, which is no mean feat in the current climate and with Waitrose just a minute's walk away.

Although owner Jonathan Boswell should have been giving himself a big pat on the back after such a successful launch, he did not rest for making sure everything was perfect for his customers on his birthday weekend, just like any other day in the shop. Every inch of his small but impeccable store is geared to presenting over 2500 different product lines and inviting tastings of around 25 products at any one time. It's no wonder foodies can't keep away!

Food for Thought is the first delicatessen in the country to unveil our new range of Spanish deli products from Torres, Barcelona. He is so cutting edge that he had them on sale to the public before we did!
