Two Great Taste Awards for 2009
From a small selection of entries, two of our imports have won 2009 Great Taste Awards, it was announced on 10th July.

From Vianoleo S.L. in Extremadura, our newest import and setting new standards in extra virgin oil, iO has earned a two-star Great Taste Award. Much of its incredible freshness and richness down to the unique mix of olive varieties and the fact that the olives picked, pressed & rested in nitrogen-sealed vats within 3 hours. It is available online direct from us or to purchase at Fortnum and Mason, London.

From Miguel Torres S.A. Food Division in Barcelona, the buttery and succulent breast of line-caught white tuna from the Bay of Biscay, Torre Real Bonito del Norte Ventresca, earned a one-star award and was the only winner in its category. It is available online direct from us or from Harrods Food Hall, London.
