London Book Fair: Gourmand Cookbook Corner 20-22 April 2009
The Gourmand Cookbook Corner at London Book Fair at Earls Court this year will host cooking demonstrations from 24 chefs, the majority being TV stars, across 14 different countries, in deference to the rapidly-growing popularity of world food culture.

Edeli products will be the choice of some of the demonstrating chefs. One of these chefs is Chakall, who is a famous TV chef  in Portugal and Germany though actually comes from Buenos Aires. Chakall is the executive chef of Cozinha Divina catering, Quinta dos Frades Restaurante in Lisbon, sign the menus for the business class of Satã airlaines, and launching his own labels Bio food. He is also the official chef of Silestone, Wolf, Sub Zero, Nespresso, President and several others international brands.

Since Edouard Cointreau founded Gourmand in 1995, more than 200.000 new food and wine books have been published, by approximately 5000 publishers around the world. Most countries now publish 3 to 4 times more cookbooks every year than 15 years ago. Gourmand will be exhibiting in collaboration with London Book Fair almost 600 of the best cookbooks published on all continents around the world in 2008. After the fair, the cookbook collection will be donated to the Jane Grigson Library at Oxford University.
